10-2 Come join TARCA at Rooksbury Mill Local Nature Reserve. We will be mulching the orchard to help it grow better in the summer and also weeding the butterfly garden ready for the spring. Meet in the main car park off of Barlow Lane

Scrappy Scrub clear & Freshwater work

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve. We will be doing a scrub clear to open up the wildflower meadows for butterflies in the summer. We will also be doing some pond management to remove encrouching scrub and clearing the small water cress beds. For thoese wishing to get wet, wellies are needed. Meet in the Main car park off of the Goch/Redon roundabout

Wicked Watrercress beds

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve. We will be clearing the centrea of the watercress beds to allow free flow for the wildlife. Wellies a must! Meet in the Main car park off of the Goch/Redon roundabout

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Ladies Walk Meadows.We will be tidying up the previously planted hedge and doing a bit of infilling. Meet at Hedge End Road near the play park

Healthy Hazel & Whomping Willow Coppicing

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve. We will be using the ancient art of coppicing with bow saws to recduce the hazel and willow trees for the benefot of wildlife, letting more light to the floor. Meet in the Main car park off of the Goch/Redon roundabout

River Clean & Litter Pick

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Wickes Meadow. We will be doing a big litter pick to remove the unsightly rubbish from the meadow and adjoining path. Wellies are recommended if getting in river. Meet in the Main car park behinf KFC. Please park in remote areas of Wickes car park to avoid disruption

Tidy Town Centre River Clear

10-2pm Come join TARCA in the town centre to remove unsightly rubbish from the towns water ways. Wellies a must! Meet in small car park behind ASDA.

BIG litter pick

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve. The day will be spent clearing Anton Lakes of unsightly rubbish which harms wildlife. This is normally our biggest pick with 1.5 tons of rubbish being removed in the past.So the more volunteers the merrier! Meet in the Main car park off of the Goch/Redon roundabout

Big Bioblitz @ Rooksbury

10-2pm Come join TARCA for our Rooksbury Mill Bioblitz. We want as many people to join our experts in finding as many species on the reserve as possible in one task. Good for beginers and experts alike Meet in main car park of of Barlows Lane

Raggy Ragwort Pull

10-2pm Come join TARCA at Harewood Common removing Ragwort before grazing commences. Although Ragwort is very valuable to wildlife it is poisonous to cattle. We will remove ragwort from the meadow but re-locate any Cinnabar caterpillars we find on the pull to a safe location. Meet at car park by show rooms SP11 6TH
